In the fog-free Sonnenhochtal Weissensee at 930m above sea level lies the purest bathing lake in the Alps in the south-west of Carinthia. A real summer paradise! Over 2000 hours of sunshine, water temperatures of up to 24°C and drinking water quality guarantee that Lake Weissensee is a summer paradise.

Vacation apartments directly on Lake Weissensee, only the sunbathing lawn separates you from the beach. Sun loungers are available on the beach and our rowing boats are waiting for you for a short boat trip. You can safely store your bike in the bike room and charge your e-bike for the next day. In the evening you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the balcony.

Winter dream Weissensee

In winter, Lake Weissensee is transformed into Europe's largest, permanently frozen natural ice surface of 6.5 km² - and thus into a mirror-smooth playground for winter vacationers, connoisseurs and ice skating enthusiasts. In winter, you can reach the cross-country ski trails, ice rinks, skating rinks, ski slopes etc. on foot from your vacation apartment. Toboggans and Zipfelbobs are available in the ski room for a fun tour. In winter, the Weissensee Nature Park is a family paradise where everyone can enjoy their favorite sport. A special experience is a full moon walk on the frozen Weissensee.
