Cross-country skiing
Cross-country lovers will find a ski paradise at the holiday region Lake Weissensee. There are more than 50 km of tracks well prepared for skating and classic cross-country skiers.
The tracks are well signed and have been awarded with a Carinthian cross-country track award. Moreover the tracks start at 930 meters above sea level and go up to 1.400 meters.
Starting point is only 200 meters away
The main starting point of the well-prepared and widely branched tracks is only 200 meters away from House Heimat. You can start your cross-country run very close to your holiday resort!
For cross-country beginners we recommend the practise cross-country tracks at lake Weissensee. There are also cross-country teachers from the ski school willing to help. A new highlight since 2012/2013 is the biathlon shooting range.

Should the conditions be good it is also possible to go skiing on the ice surface of lake Weissensee. This is something very special and a great chance to enjoy nature.
